Rafting on whales sounds really cool hey? but I don't recommend it, I'd say just get one of those floating donut things. Half our bodies were in the water and we'd flip over into the chilly water every once in a while AND our knees hit high rising boulders in the murky waters. Don't regret it though, if you tether two whales together it's actually quite fun.

Fun Times

Played a show, hung out with friends, hung out with girlfriend, went skating. That is how I'd like every weekend to be.

The one jam to rule them all

We broke up in 2008 as From The New, and now we are back playing music in 2010 as He Ain't Heavy with just one member change being Rudy Brown replacing Alexander Beatty as vocals ( I miss you Alex haven't seen you in a while). This was the last jam before the day of our show and hopefully some people like our new songs. We're playing 3 new songs and 2 oldies which are Dr. JD and Slaytanic. I'll try to get photos of how the show went we will see how that goes.

Me and Marek went skating on Wednesday then went back to Trevor's for band practise, then skated for an itty bit in his lovely garage. We're having band practise again today to fully prepare for the show. I got a battery grip and a new 70-300 mm lens today, my camera looks mighty FAAHIINNE.
